More right than wrong for the Commanders, and a B to prove it.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Commanders did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to wide receiver, which was the need that mattered most.

However the rest shakes out, Stewart at that price is a win they earned. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Pick Analysis
Pick29 Rnd1 Shemar Stewart
In pick 29 they get a double-digit-sack hope at a price that makes it sweeter. A real need, handled.
Pick61 Rnd2 TreVeyon Henderson
A tidy little value on TreVeyon Henderson in No. 61, a step better than break-even. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick128 Rnd4 Emery Jones Jr.
Emery Jones Jr. in slot 128 lands just on the right side of the ledger. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick205 Rnd6 Tyler Cooper
They let Tyler Cooper come to them and pounced at the 205th pick. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick245 Rnd7 Bilhal Kone
Bilhal Kone slid further than he should have, and pick No. 245 is lovely value for the cornerback. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
