Restrepo should have been long gone. The Chargers pounced, and earned a B-.

For all the boxes ticked, the Chargers skipped the loudest one: edge rusher is exactly as bare as it was.

Restrepo falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
