Quarterback settled, Williams in the fold, and a D- for the Bears.

Somebody took the Bears to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

The whole projection now runs through Caleb Williams; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The Johnson reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

They banked enough surplus on Smith to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
