A respectable, level-headed haul for the Commanders: B. The Commanders did not so much draft Da'Shawn Womack as overpay for him, 92 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.
They banked enough surplus on Biles to cover a lot of smaller sins. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want. With tight end, offensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
