Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B

The Ravens fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Ravens shredded theirs for Mason Reiger. He came off 46 spots early, and the room will hear about it. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Slaughter falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The phones were where this weekend was really won. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick45 Rnd2 Emmanuel Pregnon
Emmanuel Pregnon at Round 2, Pick 13 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the offensive lineman. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick80 Rnd3 Jake Slaughter
Steal is underselling it; Jake Slaughter at pick No. 80 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick115 Rnd4 Bryce Lance
No drama and no debate, Bryce Lance went about where he belonged in the 115th overall pick. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick152 Rnd5 Mason Reiger
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Mason Reiger. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick160 Rnd5 Kaleb Proctor
Kaleb Proctor at slot 160 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick172 Rnd5 Ephesians Prysock
They paid a round early for Ephesians Prysock in No. 172, more than the board wanted. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick173 Rnd5 Zxavian Harris
Zxavian Harris at the 173rd overall pick is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick249 Rnd7 John Michael Gyllenborg
A market-rate tight end, with the board and the slot shaking hands on John Michael Gyllenborg. The roster fit checks out.
Pick252 Rnd7 Logan Taylor
They paid up for Logan Taylor at pick No. 252 when waiting would have done the job. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
