Nobody dealt better than the Bears this weekend: B+.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

Every board in the league had Estime lower, and that gap is the story. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Spending an early pick on safety with interior defensive lineman, cornerback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
