The Eagles got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-. The war room fell hard for Austin Reed, and it showed at the 226th pick: 48 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.
The Hart steal is the beam this whole class leans on. On the needs board they went 8 of 9, with cornerback the one that mattered most.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
