The rest of the league will want that one back. Dylan Fairchild tumbling to the Lions in the Round 6 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. The back end got a real overhaul.
