The steal of the weekend belongs to the Cardinals and Leonard: B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Cardinals were there to profit. Riley Leonard, the No. 130 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 152. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They are betting Milum proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick Analysis
Pick16 Rnd1 Wyatt Milum
In the Round 1 slot they get a blindside protector, though the board says they badly overpaid. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick47 Rnd2 Derrick Harmon
Derrick Harmon in pick No. 47 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick78 Rnd3 Barrett Carter
Barrett Carter in slot 78 is fair value, right on his grade. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick115 Rnd4 Jaylin Lane
No drama and no debate, Jaylin Lane went about where he belonged in No. 115. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick152 Rnd5 Riley Leonard
The board fumbled Riley Leonard all the way to the 152nd pick, and they scooped it up. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick225 Rnd7 Robert Longerbeam
Good price on Robert Longerbeam in the 225th overall pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
