The phones sank the Dolphins this weekend: D-.

The Dolphins treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 90th overall pick on Drew Allar a full 45 spots early. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Scott. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
