The Browns kept it disciplined and banked a B+.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Jake Slaughter tumbling to the Browns in the 70th overall pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

They are betting Bowry proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
