The board owed the Patriots one, and it paid up: Taylen Green, the No. 188 name on the board, sitting there at slot 216 like a gift left on the doorstep.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Jagusah has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
