Best value of the weekend goes to the Bears for Gillotte: A.

The Bears ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A.

That Gillotte pick is the receipt they will wave around later. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The McLaughlin pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

Bottom line, with Chop Robinson leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
