The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Chiefs watched Devin Neal slide 52 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The Sanders reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The Bryant pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
