There is reaching, and then there is Jordan Hall at the 205th overall pick. The Browns jumped the board by 53 and dared it to prove them wrong. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Haulcy pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
