The Browns spent the pick that matters most on Cam Ward, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

Fairchild has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. That Marks pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
