Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Omarion Hampton got past him. The Commanders do not have to explain a thing at pick 61. No fireworks, but a solid B.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
