Larceny in pick No. 247 lands the Patriots a B-, Caldwell and all.

When a board-topper like Jeff Caldwell slides to the 247th pick, you do not overthink it, and the Patriots did not. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
