Somebody in pick No. 169 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Patriots sat still while Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, the No. 40 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Crownover has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
