The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bears and Clark: A-. This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: De'Corian Clark, the No. 167 name on the board, stolen at No. 223. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will need Henderson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.
The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, linebacker and other spots still on the board. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
In the end it comes back to Rome Odunze, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
