The 49ers torched the value chart for Phillip Webb, taking him 74 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Williams. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.

They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
