Bowman Jr. should have been long gone. The 49ers pounced, and earned a B+.

You could see the war room lean forward. Billy Bowman Jr. at slot 231 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Fleming reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
