The Cardinals cashed the board's mistake on Williams: B.

Somebody in the 186th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Cardinals sat still while James Williams, the No. 135 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The Spann-Ford reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
