Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Lions never addressed safety, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Pritchett. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
