The 49ers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Lathan Ransom, the No. 105 name on the board, in Round 5, Pick 9. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Dalton Risner gives the group a proven body among the projects.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
