It is the swing that defines the weekend: Sai'vion Jones in Round 3, Pick 18, a good 141 spots before the room expected him. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C+.

Getting Carter where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

If Tate Ratledge and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
