The board owed the Seahawks one, and it paid up: Davison Igbinosun, the No. 165 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 186 like a gift left on the doorstep. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Reaching for Carter Jr. left real value on the table behind him. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
