The Bears cashed the board's mistake on Mullings: B-.

Somebody in pick 193 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Kalel Mullings, the No. 104 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
