Every other box got a look, but cornerback did not. The Lions will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with.

However the rest shakes out, Walker at that price is a win they earned. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
