The Raiders won the night they stopped Jacobs from sliding. Grade: D. The phones were a trap the Raiders kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The math is unkind, and the D follows.
They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Reaching for Murphy left real value on the table behind him. That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
