There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Jets started one anyway for Jordan Travis, 44 picks ahead of schedule.

Landing Jones that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
