The steal of the weekend belongs to the Seahawks and Jackson: D+. Nobody had Matthew Jones this high, and it is not close. The Seahawks reached 40 spots to get him at pick 226. It grades a D+, and the process earned it.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Jackson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
