You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Patriots did exactly that with Drew Kendall in pick No. 238. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
