Draft Grade — Bills

FutureB
The Bills cashed the board's mistake on Keegan: D. The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Trevor Keegan, pick No. 204, roughly 60 picks past where he belonged.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Every board in the league had Pritchett lower, and that gap is the story.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
Pick Analysis
Pick36
Rnd2
Xavier Legette
They paid sticker price for Xavier Legette in slot 36, and that is fine. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick48
Rnd2
Kris Jenkins
By-the-book stuff, Kris Jenkins at Round 2, Pick 16 squarely in line with his ranking. It fills a real need, too.
Pick71
Rnd3
Brandon Dorlus
A premium they did not need to pay, Brandon Dorlus a notch or two before his time. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick122
Rnd4
James Williams
A straight-up fair deal on James Williams at the 122nd overall pick, value and slot in agreement. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick134
Rnd4
Nehemiah Pritchett
They liked Nehemiah Pritchett enough to skip the value, taking him in pick No. 134. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick160
Rnd5
Jalyx Hunt
Jalyx Hunt at No. 160 is money in the bank, a edge rusher taken below his worth. The roster fit checks out.
Pick162
Rnd5
Kitan Oladapo
Kitan Oladapo slid further than he should have, and pick 162 is lovely value for the safety. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick200
Rnd6
Walter Rouse
Steal is underselling it; Walter Rouse at the Round 6 slot is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick204
Rnd6
Trevor Keegan
Trevor Keegan in the Round 6 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
