Larceny in pick 62 lands the Steelers a D, Hill Jr. and all.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Steelers shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They will need Payton to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with edge rusher open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The Hill Jr. pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
