A costly weekend of dealing drags the Packers to a D+.

There is reaching, and then there is Davin Vann at Round 6, Pick 18. The Packers jumped the board by 84 and dared it to prove them wrong. A D+ that will need time and luck to look better.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They banked enough surplus on Thomas to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
