The Falcons won the night they stopped Johnson from sliding. Grade: B+.

The real work happened on the phones. The Falcons fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

However the rest shakes out, Johnson at that price is a win they earned. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The Falcons clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
