They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: John Williams, 39 picks early at pick 231. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. It is not that Parrish is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first.

That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Quinn Meinerz deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
