The Jets finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a F.

The Logan Brown pick is the one that will follow the Jets into the fall. They took him 44 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Whatever Cam Ward becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer.

That is a tight end worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

About as rough as a weekend gets on paper, with edge rusher still staring back at them.
