Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Thor Griffith at No. 249 is 63 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

Cam Ward is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The Horton pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
