You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The 49ers did exactly that with Devin Culp in pick No. 251.

The Dixon pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
