The Patriots went off the board in a big way for Ethan Downs, 51 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Borregales pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with safety still on the board.

They punted on safety, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. That Warren pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
