When a board-topper like TreVeyon Henderson slides to pick 81, you do not overthink it, and the Patriots did not. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.

The cost of the Horsley reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it.

Adding Mike Hilton by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Tetairoa McMillan and all.
