The board owed the Bears one, and it paid up: Adonai Mitchell, the No. 31 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 3 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The Bishop pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
