Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
