The Packers let Johnson fall into their laps, and walked away with a C+. When a board-topper like Cornelius Johnson slides to the Round 6 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Packers did not.
The Taylor-Demerson pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback and interior defensive lineman still on the board. Glaze has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
