The steal of the weekend belongs to the Packers and James: B.

When a board-topper like DJ James slides to pick No. 88, you do not overthink it, and the Packers did not. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Davis has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
