Good, not great, for the Steelers: B-.

The Steelers torched the value chart for Kurtis Rourke, taking him 31 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

The Steelers indulged a want in Fisher while a need in interior defensive lineman, edge rusher and other spots stayed open. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

On value alone, Hicks makes the weekend a net positive. Adding Samaje Perine by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Pick Analysis
Pick52 Rnd2 Zach Frazier
They liked Zach Frazier enough to skip the value, taking him in pick 52. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick84 Rnd3 Blake Fisher
A surprising call. With interior defensive lineman, edge rusher and other spots still to address, they spent No. 84 on Blake Fisher, an offensive lineman they were not short of.
Pick120 Rnd4 Jaden Hicks
Jaden Hicks at the 120th pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick121 Rnd4 Tommy Eichenberg
They took Tommy Eichenberg at par in the Round 4 slot, which is nothing to complain about. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick198 Rnd6 Daijahn Anthony
Daijahn Anthony in the 198th overall pick is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick238 Rnd7 Kurtis Rourke
Kurtis Rourke at pick No. 238 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
