After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

The Booker pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Barton falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

They will answer for taking safety early while interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots went begging. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Bottom line, with Caleb Williams leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
