Taylor should have been long gone. The Jets pounced, and earned a B+.

When a board-topper like Mason Taylor slides to the Round 5 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Jets did not. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

They are betting Alexander proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The phones were where this weekend was really won. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
